Teaching Visual Art - principals of composition, methods and practice in Ottawa.
Methodology
I teach theory, principles and methods of Fine Visual Arts and then work with students on practical application of them in various forms of Visual Art, media, techniques etc. I customize classes to the level of advancement and individual needs of a student - from a beginner or a child to an advanced student.
Background
I am an artist who likes to teach and share my experience. I have been teaching people of various ages and walks of life - children, retired, university students and people working in other professions and trades. I believe that any age is good to learn and to be creative, one just needs to find the right method of teaching.
I believe, that learning to express oneself in art is like learning a new language that allows to say more than words can.

Details
Rate doesn't include art supplies.
I charge $5.00 for my travel time within 10 km.
I accept a group up to 3 students at a time of a similar level that wish to be taught together, such as siblings or friends. The rate is $15.00 per hour each.

Virginija's Resume
After completing 5 years of full studies at Lithuanian State Institute of Fine Arts in 1978 I graduated with an Artist Designer qualifications and Master's degree. I also have Staging and Redesign Professional diploma from Quality of Course in Ottawa. I worked in Industrial Design, Restoration, Animation. At the same time I have been painting and drawing, doing photography and crafts. I also have been teaching art and design part time all the way along.
