About Christine
I am flexible, patient and passionate when it comes to accommodating for and instructing math. I may use puns in my lesson (not intended most of the time), visuals and step by step methods to help detail out and point out particular and complex concept as well as label what to do in each step. OL $25 hourly In Person $45 (due to traveling).

Hello there, I am an aspiring math tutor and soon to be teacher once fully credentialed. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Humanities from Maranatha Baptist University and Masters Degree in Education from National University.
I have taught junior high math for 1 1/2 years as a long term sub and am currently in the process of passing my state exams to teach high school level math (ie Geometry, Statistics and Algebra II). I can teach 6-8th grade math (Pre-Algebra I- Pre-Algebra II) and high school level math (Algebra 1). I am currently relearning Geometry and some Algebra II concepts to better adapt my teaching strategies to better assist students where help is needed.
In my education experience, I have learned of and applied various teaching methods and instruction to meet the needs and pacing of students where they are at. I don't believe students learn the same way or at the same pace. That being said, I am flexible and am willing to go the extra mile and research more variety of instructional techniques and methods to meet a student's math goal and assist them to advance further into their skills.
I more than happy and willing to work with you on developing goals and finding a variety of methods, teaching styles and ideas on how to better assist you.
