I'm a TEFL-certified English tutor from South Africa with over 4 years of online teaching experience.

I specialise in helping adults improve their conversational and business English through practical, engaging lessons. I’m a patient, calm, and friendly teacher who believes students learn best when they feel comfortable enough to speak, make mistakes, and ask questions.

I really enjoy getting to know my students and learning about their lives, interests, and experiences. I believe that genuine connection makes lessons more enjoyable and gives us more opportunities to have meaningful conversations in English.

About the lesson

I’m a TEFL-certified English tutor with over 4 years of online teaching experience, primarily working with adults.

My lessons focus on conversational and business English, with an emphasis on helping you use the English you already know more naturally and confidently. I believe the best way to improve is by actually speaking, so my lessons are conversation-focused, practical, and personalised around your goals and interests.

In a typical lesson, we might explore a topic, discuss an article, or simply have a natural conversation. I’ll ask questions, encourage you to explain your ideas, and introduce useful vocabulary, everyday expressions, and natural phrases that you can use in real conversations.

I also provide gentle corrections throughout the lesson. I explain mistakes clearly and simply, so you understand how to express yourself more naturally without feeling discouraged.

I especially enjoy working with learners who understand English but struggle to use it confidently when speaking. If you want to talk more, expand your vocabulary, improve your fluency, and feel more comfortable expressing yourself, my lessons are designed for you.

I teach in English and work with intermediate to advanced learners.

My goal is for you to leave every lesson having spoken a lot, learned something useful, and feeling a little more confident than when you started.
