I met Anushka Ma’am in Grade 11 when she became my Psychology teacher. Psychology was a completely new subject for me, as well as for most students in the class. From our very first lecture, I noticed something: an entire classroom sitting quietly and attentively, genuinely engaged in what was being taught. She introduced the fundamentals of Psychology in such a clear and structured manner that understanding the basics felt effortless. Even today, I remember how easily we were able to grasp the foundational concepts because of her dedication to ensuring that every student understood them thoroughly.

Throughout the two academic years I spent as her student, she consistently provided individual attention and guidance, helping each of us improve our understanding and performance. Learning under her has been one of the most meaningful academic experiences of my school life. Her depth of knowledge, passion for the subject, and ability to simplify even complex concepts set her apart as an exceptional educator.

What impressed me most was her ability to balance effective classroom teaching with personal attention to every student. She constantly encouraged us to push beyond our perceived limits and achieve more than we thought possible. In addition, her excellent communication skills greatly enhanced the learning experience. Effective communication between a teacher and students is essential, and Anushka Ma’am always ensured that there was complete clarity in her teaching. No matter how difficult a topic seemed initially, she never failed to explain it in a way that was easy to understand.

I am grateful for the opportunity to have been her student and can confidently say that her guidance played a significant role in developing both my understanding of Psychology and my confidence as a learner.
