About Janam

My name is Janam and I am currently in the process of studying Medicine at Kings College London. I have opted to pursue an intercalated degree in Neuroscience and aspire to push the bounds of my knowledge in my 4th year. I hope that I am able to do the same for my students by instilling confidence and allowing them to reach new depths of understanding. In this sense, they will be able to foster a deeper connection with their subjects and apply their knowledge in diverse ways. I aim to guide my students and help them reach their academic goals. Moreover, communication is one of the most important factors in successful tutoring and I hope that my students will feel free to contact me with any queries that we can discuss in subsequent sessions.

About the lesson

As a 4th- year medical student, I have had lots of experience in teaching my peers, ranging from 1st year to 4th year. Therefore, I have developed the ability to adapt my teaching strategies to cater to individual students learning needs. Additionally, I have had tutoring experience prior to medical school, whereby both parents and students felt that I had exceeded their expectations with regard to my continuous engagement that allowed students to reflect on their knowledge and reach their goals. Typically, I would prefer to tutor for 1-2 hours, however, upon request, this can be changed. Having achieved 10A*s in GCSEs and 3A*s and an A at A level, I believe that I am qualified to teach challenging material at a GCSE to A-level standard. In summary, I would love the opportunity to guide you and help you reach your aspirations!
