About Manuel
I am Udeh Manuel, a chess instructor and founder of THE KING'S PAWN CHESS ACADEMY, Abuja. We focus on teaching the game of Chess to students and pupils in pre-tertiary schools and inculcating vital life’s values to the younger generation through Chess tactics.
The Academy also organizes and moderate inter school chess competitions for primary and secondary schools respectively.

We employ our knowledge of medieval history and real life scenes to explain the game tactics using a vertical classroom chess boards for easy comprehension and relatability.
After the explanation, students are provided with the conventional chess boards and arranged in pairs to engage themselves while being guided by the instructors.
