About Sarah
In 2018, seeking a more flexible way to deliver classes, I made the transition to working online. I found I loved teaching in this way and have been doing it ever since - I find joy in the innovation of connecting with my students from all over the world, and the creativity in creating classes or courses to suit their needs.
Outside of teaching, I indulge in reading, swimming, and improving my French & Spanish. Family time, outdoor adventures, and crafts with my son are cherished moments for me.

I have 8 years experience, teaching both online and face to face. I am CELTA qualified and trained to senior teaching level with experience training new teachers.
My areas of expertise are Cambridge Exam preparation and Business English (8 years) with experience in IELTS preparation (3 years). I also have a qualification in Digital Marketing and Social Media, so I recently began specialising in Business English classes for Digital Marketing executives.
My classes depend on what you need as an individual. I find that teaching online requires patience, empathy, determination and a sound sense of professionalism. I provide a warm and relaxed teaching environment, as I believe a friendly attitude is key to allowing you to feel comfortable enough to grow and gain confidence in English. My methodology is communicative - I believe learning though your own experiences in life is the most effective and memorable way with language learning. I also use task-based learning, direct grammar and vocabulary lessons, TPR (total physical response - for beginners) and I also encourage a blended learning approach (self-study through materials I provide).
