About Yalda
I am going into the third year of my maths degree at the University of Edinburgh, after completing one year of a general engineering degree. I have a strong background in maths and physics, and have tutored french to primary school children. More informally, I have tutored friends and family and have helped them reach their goals.

When teaching to pass a science exam, my method is to make sure all the content on the syllabus is covered and then to tackle difficult exam questions and see if there are any gaps in the student's knowledge.
When tutoring in maths, I believe working through difficult problems is the best way to sharpen a student's skills and to help highlight any weaknesses that need focusing on.
