About Jerome
Hey! How’s it going? This is the part where I tell you a bit about my self.
I have just completed my third year of mechanical engineering at queens university and I am back in the city for a year for my internship.
I have worked as a satellite mechanical intern in the past and this will be my second internship in the space industry, safe to say I am a space nut :)
Outside of my professional life, I just finished up my tenure as the mechanical systems manager on the queens space engineering team where I worked to mentor and teach my team members about mechanical analysis methods for space applications.
During my time in highschool I had a mentor who helped me a lot in my path to pursue my dreams and I would like to pay that forward.
I am always down to chat about space and career development and hopefully help some do you achieve your academic or professional goals

I am an intuitive learner so my teaching style is very example based and tied to real life scenarios. In my opinion, gaining an intuitive understanding is the best way to approach physics and math concepts.
With my background in mechanical engineering I am able to dissect problems and explain concepts in a multitude of ways.
I will also be available for quick questions throughout my day as I believe sometimes all it takes is a few suggestions to untangle the most complex of problems.
