About Max
I'm Max, a professional worship leader and musician based in Southern California. I've led worship weekly at churches since 2015, which means over a decade of live vocal and guitar performance, running rehearsals, and coaching volunteer musicians and singers of all skill levels — including many kids and teens taking the stage for the first time. I'm also a professional content creator with 150,000+ followers who has produced music and video content for national brands, so I bring an up-to-date, engaging style that younger students connect with. I'm a husband and father of two, patient by trade, and my favorite part of teaching is watching a nervous beginner realize they can actually do this. Students are safe, encouraged, and challenged in every lesson.

I've been a professional worship leader for over 10 years, leading music every week in front of live congregations, and I'm also a content creator with over 150,000 followers, so I know how to make music fun, current, and confidence-building. I teach guitar, voice, and songwriting for kids, teens, and adult beginners. Lessons are patient and encouraging: we start with songs you actually want to play, build real technique (chords, strumming, breath support, pitch), and get you performing something you're proud of within the first few weeks. A typical lesson includes a quick warm-up, one new skill, applying it to a song you love, and a simple practice plan for the week. As a dad of two, I'm great with young learners and nervous beginners. Online or in person around Victorville, weekday afternoons and evenings available.
