About Aryan

I am an A-level student studying Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and French, with a strong passion for problem-solving and logical thinking. Beyond academics, I have participated in national competitions, including the Senior Maths Challenge, where I achieved a Gold award. I want to teach because I believe that maths should be accessible and enjoyable for every student. I know that many students struggle with confidence in maths, often finding it intimidating or frustrating. My goal is to break down complex topics into simple, understandable steps, helping you to develop both skill and confidence. Having been through the same challenges myself, I understand the importance of an encouraging teacher. Another reason I started tutoring is the reality of needing a part-time income during Sixth Form. Many typical student jobs—like retail or hospitality—can be exhausting and offer little flexibility around schoolwork. Tutoring allows me to earn money doing something I genuinely enjoy while developing valuable skills in communication, patience, and leadership. It’s a rewarding way to help others succeed while also preparing myself for university and a future career in finance. Through tutoring, I hope to inspire students to see maths not just as a subject, but as a valuable skill that enhances problem-solving and logical thinking in everyday life.

About the lesson

Teaching Methodology & Techniques: I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation, helping students understand mathematical principles rather than just memorising methods. My lessons include explanations, practice questions, and exam-style problems to understand how to apply knowledge to real questions. Lesson Length: Each session typically lasts 60 minutes, but I can adjust the duration based on the student's needs. Qualifications & Experience: I achieved 100% in my GCSE Maths exam and am currently studying Maths and Further Maths at A-level. My strong mathematical background and problem-solving skills allow me to break down complex topics in a simple, understandable way. Who Are These Lessons For? I tutor GCSE Maths students who need support with understanding key topics, improving exam techniques, or boosting their confidence in maths.
