My classes are relaxed and fun, which makes my students feel at ease. I understand that many students dread or even hate Maths and that there are a thousand and one things that they would rather do than have a Maths class!
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Maths from Key Stage 1 to 4, GCSE (Foundation), iGCSE (Foundation), SATS preparation and Adult Numeracy.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
My qualifications include my teacher training PGCE, Teaching Numeracy as a Specialist Subject, Key Skills - Teaching and Learning and a degree in Business.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £25.00 for one hours tuition which includes my travel time to the home of the student and preparation time. My online fee is also £25 per hour.
- Where do you teach?
I travel to students' homes in Poulton-Le-Fylde, Carleton, Thornton-Cleveleys, Bispham and Blackpool North. I am willing to travel to Lytham St Annes (£30) and Preston (£35). I also teach online.
- When are you available?
I am available Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 9.00pm.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages from 5 years old to 95. I teach Keys Stages 1 to 4, SATS, GCSE, iGCSE and Adult Numeracy.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I teach online through zoom.us, which is free to use. All students have to do is open an account with zoom.us and email their ID number to my email account.
