About Skyler
Hello there!
My name is Skyler Carlson and I am a recent college graduate who is looking to start tutoring others in what were some of my personal favorite and most understood college courses. Although I do not have much professional tutoring experience, I can assure you that I am knowledgeable, patient and ready to tutor you in chemistry topics that you are struggling with.
I graduated in summa cum laude honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology: Pre-health & Biomedical Sciences, along with a minor in Chemistry. I spent plenty of my time in college studying and tutoring others around me.
Overall, I am an extremely outgoing, patient and understanding individual who is looking forward to helping others advance their understanding because learning can be the most rewarding and fun thing to do!

Learning is extremely subjective to the student and the class & teacher they are working with! Therefore, my approach to tutoring is to prioritize the course syllabus and handouts, and to dive deeper on the specific subject areas that the student is struggling with. I am open to a variety of students (high school, college, etc.) who are taking chemistry classes, including general chemistry I&II and organic chemistry I&II. My very first tutoring session would consist of getting to know one another and setting future goals and lesson plans specifically tied to YOU!
