About Maleusina

Hi! I’m Rhi, and I’m a student who has always enjoyed Math. It has consistently been one of my strongest subjects, and I’ve always been proud of achieving top grades in it. Over time, I realized that one of the things I enjoy most is helping other people understand Math, especially when they initially think a topic is too difficult.

I know that Math can be frustrating when a lesson just doesn’t seem to make sense. When I help someone, I try to explain things in a way that feels simple and natural instead of making them memorize a bunch of formulas. I like going through problems step by step, using examples, and finding different ways to explain something until it finally clicks.

Since I’m a student too, I understand what it’s like to have quizzes, deadlines, and lessons that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I want my tutoring sessions to feel comfortable and judgment-free, where you can ask as many questions as you need and learn at your own pace.

Outside of Math, I enjoy playing music, traveling, playing sports, and trying different hobbies. I’m a curious person who genuinely enjoys learning new things, and I’d love to share that same enthusiasm for learning with my students.

I’m excited to meet you, learn about your goals, and hopefully make Math a subject you feel much more confident about!

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is simple: I want students to understand Math, not just memorize formulas. I use clear, step-by-step explanations and examples that make difficult concepts easier to follow. I also encourage students to ask questions and explain their own thinking so I can see which parts they understand and where they need more help.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review of the topic and a few questions to see what the student already knows. I then explain the concept using simple examples, work through practice problems together, and gradually let the student solve problems independently. We finish by reviewing the lesson and identifying anything they would like to practice more.

What sets me apart is that I’m also a student, so I understand what it feels like to encounter a confusing lesson or struggle with a problem. Since Math has consistently been one of my strongest subjects and I have achieved top grades in it, I want to share the study techniques and ways of thinking that have helped me succeed. I aim to make lessons comfortable, patient, and never intimidating.

My lessons are mainly for elementary and junior high school students who want to strengthen their Math skills, understand difficult topics, prepare for quizzes and exams, or simply become more confident in solving problems. I teach in English and can adjust the difficulty and pace depending on each student’s level and needs.
