About Nipun
I’m a FIDE-rated chess player with over 17 years of competitive experience, having represented my state in various national and international tournaments, including CBSE Nationals. I've consistently performed at a high level, competing in state championships and open events across India, and currently pursuing my Master’s degree in the UK. What sets me apart is my deep understanding of positional play—a critical skill that turns complex middlegame positions into clear, winning advantages. I see every piece on the board as valuable, and I teach my students to think the same way. I focus on helping players build a strategic mindset, not just memorise lines. I specialise in coaching intermediate to advanced players, offering lessons that cover: Opening repertoire building Deep middlegame planning Endgame mastery Tournament preparation and psychological readiness That said, I’m equally enthusiastic about teaching motivated beginners who are serious about improving and seeing their future in chess.
