About Anthony
I have over 15 years experience helping college and high school students learn problem solving and reasoning skills related to the tutoring subject. I also teach courses in math and science, as well as test preparation such as the SAT math and ACT.

I emphasize preparation. This includes assessing the student such as where they are now, and where do they want to reach as far as the tutoring subject. This includes encouraging the student to be proactive such as providing me the necessary information like the course syllabus and schedule, so that I can come prepared to each tutoring session. I strive to get the student to learn how to reason and conceptualize the subject matter such as promoting visual aid learning, instead of having the student memorize the topics. Additionally, I work with the student to address test-taking challenges such as work on how to prioritize taking a timed test and how to manage test-taking stress.
