About Christopher
I have been tutoring since 2003. Since 2015 I have been working part-time as a freelance tutor. In addition to my freelance work, I am completing a university degree in mathematics and physics. My teaching method is based on the students. First, I determine the strengths and weaknesses of the students. Then I ask about the personal goals for the lesson (improvement of grades, study / career aspirations, etc.). From these objectives, I develop a target plan with the students. Together we will then make an agreement for the implementation in partial steps.

My lessons are aimed primarily at high school graduates who are aiming for a scientific course at a university, or at students who are currently completing such a university course. It is also very well suited for middle and high school students who want supervision for their homework and preparation for exams. The language of instruction is German and English can also be selected if required. During a typical teaching unit, I ask about the current situation in the school / university, supervise homework, correct tests and exams together, and work on exercises together. Whenever time allows, I add some additional background knowledge to the lessons, which increases the students understanding of the material.
