About John
I am a young student, living in Ireland. I have been playing chess since I was 3, and I have competed in multiple junior tournaments. I have won two team competitions, in 2018 and 2019. I also won a solo competition in 2023. Chess has been a major hobby for me for years. I also currently have a FIDE rating of 1485.

I will tutor players online using chess.com, who have low or no experience. Students can be of all ages. My style includes pattern recognition training, teaching the basics of openings and endings, as well as consistent encouragement matched with constructive criticism.
