About Charles
Along with my experiences in a wide range of students’ abilities, I strive to make learning fun and strengthen your child’s abilities in all academic areas. In writing, for example, I created a superhero curriculum where my students created a comic graphic novel that improves writing skills and artwork skills, and when completed, send their comic to DC Comics, Marvel Comics or Shutterfly to be self-published and create their own books. Lastly, I have been a substitute teacher for the last three years. On any given day, I am in a different educational setting and provide excellent educational experiences.

With a master's degree in education and 25 years of experience with elementary students in regular education and special education students, I have successfully taught and have reached students with a wide range of abilities in all subjects. I start where your child is at academically, and will design a tutoring program for your child in a specific way they learn best. With the regular Ed students and students with special needs I have worked with. I also have had these students make academic gains with a clear understanding of subject matter.
