My lessons are individually and custom made to help each student master their subject area! I specialize in teaching math. In my experience, I have found that students are more willing to learn when they are enjoying the lesson being taught. My sessions focus on various learning strategies, such as practicing rhymes or hand motions that can be applied to their target area, chunking information so they master each step along the way and don’t feel overwhelmed by too much at once, and explaining “the why” behind each concept to enhance the students’ understanding. It my goal to go into each session without expectations of where the student “should” be, but rather, to meet them right where they are and build from there.
