About Beatriz
Hi!
I’m a 19-year-old undergraduate student at Southampton studying marine biology with oceanography. During my A levels, I had the experience of working with a tutor, and their guidance and support made a huge impact towards my final grades and my confidence. That experience inspired me to help others and provide them with the same personalised support. I’m dedicated to learning my students' techniques for learning whether it's more visual or acoustic and using it to progress their learning. I aim to understand their troubles and create the best teaching methods to overcome them. I want to help students build both their confidence and understanding. As someone who has sat their A levels, I can understand how difficult this time period can be and therefore having extra support can make a big difference. I’ve helped a lot of students during my time at sixth form with volunteering in classes beside my teachers. I’d love the opportunity to help you achieve your academic goals!

I’m a friendly and dedicated tutor who had first-hand experience of how the right support can make a big difference. During my A levels, I had the experience of working with a tutor and the support I received made a huge impact on my confidence and my results. From that, I wanted to ensure others could feel the same personalised support. I aim to make my lessons very engaging with using visual images and going over past paper questions. I aim to break down difficult topics and explain mark schemes as they can be tricky to grasp. A typical lesson would be 1 hour starting with past paper questions and then focusing on each topic using diagrams and creating precise notes. I’ve had experience with helping students during my time at sixth form and therefore my target audience would be students in Year 12 and Year 13 sitting their A levels.
