About Nya
Since high school, I've helped many peers and younger students regarding chemistry lab reports, algebra classwork assignments, and sharing reliable resources and ended up with excellent results. I have sharpened my skills in algebra by taking pre-ap and college algebra. As for chemistry, I took a level and AP chemistry in high school and revisited it in college.
As a third-year in college chemical engineering major, I know how hard it is to study and understand certain subjects. Growing up, it was hard for me to learn math, yet, I'm still rising. It is essential to ask for help and not give up. I am a tutor you can count on.

As a tutor, I like to break down the topic from subjects such as chemistry and algebra as much as possible with examples or scenarios and have them do extra practice on that topic. I ensure a student understands the case of that subject by providing they are engaged by asking questions and having one-on-one discussions of the topic. If a student still does not understand, we discuss their missing piece of information and devise a creative way for them to understand. When I was younger, I struggled in math and a few other subjects. I find myself to be a very empathetic person. So when a student is struggling in a subject, I can see it in their level of understanding and share tactics that I have learned for me to succeed in the class.
