About Ayhan

I am an undergraduate student at Western University with a strong background in science, particularly in Biology and Chemistry, and I enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts.

Throughout my studies, I have developed strong problem-solving and communication skills that allow me to explain ideas clearly and patiently.

While I take tutoring seriously and always come prepared for lessons, I also try to keep sessions friendly and encouraging so that learning feels less stressful and more enjoyable.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring starts with a free introductory lesson where the student and I can get to know each other and see if we are a good match. During this session, I try to understand the student’s goals, what they find challenging, and how they learn best. From there, we create a plan that makes the lessons comfortable, productive, and focused on their needs.
When I teach, I like to break down difficult concepts into simpler ideas and connect them to real-world examples. I find that students understand topics much better when they can see how they relate to everyday life. I also try to explain things in a way that matches the student’s level, using language that feels natural and easy to understand.

A typical lesson usually starts with reviewing what the student learned previously and answering any questions they might have. Then we work through new material together and practice problems to make sure the concept really sticks. I encourage students to think through problems out loud and explain ideas in their own words, because that’s often the best way to build confidence and understanding.

What sets me apart as a tutor is that I genuinely enjoy teaching. It’s something I’ve always liked doing, and I put a lot of effort into making sure students feel supported and comfortable asking questions. I try to stay patient, positive, and encouraging so that students don’t feel intimidated by the material.

My lessons are mainly for middle school and high school students who want help with Biology, Chemistry, Math, or Physics. Whether a student is preparing for tests, struggling with certain topics, or just wants to strengthen their understanding, my goal is to help them learn in a way that feels clear and manageable.
