About Tia

My name is Tia (She/Her), I'm an aspiring English teacher and a current English student. I write both creatively and for leisure, as well as academically. In all my writing endeavors, I strive for a gradual and consistent improvement. I hope to inspire a professional and personal connection to literature in all of my students. A little more about myself: I was raised in Colorado, and was homeschooled for most of my life. I was previously a biology major with a strong passion for forensic science. I am currently working on four separate novels and have plans for publication later in life. I adore animals and have a strong passion for creative world-building and fantasy literature.

About the lesson

My approach is based on what the student wants to improve on specifically. If the lessons are geared towards reading comprehension we will do multiple short stories, or work on assigned homework to better understand literature. If the student wishes to improve their formal essay writing skills, we will review specific essay assignments together and go over structure, grammar, MLA formatting, and more. All of my services are tailored to specific student needs.
