About Noelani
I am a Sociology major with a minor in Education. In high school, I did good in all my math classes and thoroughly enjoyed the subject. I am eager to help students struggling with math because I have experienced the struggle of understanding equations and how to find the right answers. Through practice and help from teachers, I have learned how to effectively understand functions of math. My teachers have inspired me to help other students as they have helped me when I was in K-12.

As an experienced student, I find that practice problems and seeking help are the most efficient ways for me to learn. Therefore, my approach as a tutor will be to help the students through a practice problem and offering other practice problems to work on. Once the student understands the mechanisms of solving the problem, they will be able to solve their own homework problem by themselves. This method of helping them through the problem will allow them to better understand it for the next test or exam.
