About Sean
I am an undergraduate Student-Athlete at Washington University in St. Louis. I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Materials Science and Engineering. Still being in the education system, I can understand what works and what certainly does not when it comes to teaching. In the past, as a high school student myself, I tutored a student in Calculus during my senior year, so I have experience crafting lesson plans and walking through problems.

My lessons are geared towards middle and high school students looking to solidify understanding in their math or science classes. As a tutor, I start each session out by understanding where strengths and weaknesses lie within the topics discussed, viewing how the student approaches solving problems. Then I move on to a short lesson in the given topic, followed by practice with the student, allowing them to attempt "reach" problems that test their understanding of a topic.
