About Lisette
I have previously successfully tutored 8 students in maths and biology up to GCSE level. Through my aid, all my students over-achieved their target grades, or moved up to top set within the school. I am enthusiastic and motivated person, I hope to instil a passion for learning in my students.
I have a first class masters degree in chemistry from the University of Sheffield. I am currently in my third year of a 4 year PhD at the University of Edinburgh.

I want to give my tutees a new found confidence and love of learning. I feel that the education system can put a lot of pressure on students and I want to help to relieve that stress!
Using online technology, I teach via a combination of powerpoint and whiteboard, with half the lesson based on teaching and worked examples, and half based on student led worksheet. I provide learning objectives to focus my lessons, and I encourage my students to think independently.
