I have taught mathematics from developmental math all the way through the calculus series for 20 years. I have taught grade levels from seventh grade all the way through college seniors.
I like to explain the concepts, provide examples on how to do problems showing methodology, then how such examples can be applied to real life situations. I am a firm proponent of using applications to bolster the learning.
My prior students will recommend to their friends to take my classes. They will tell their friends that I am tough but fair and they they will learn the subject matter.
