About Katie
I am an undergraduate studying International Relations and History. I have recently returned from studying in Australia for one year where I tutored three students. Two of them were in Grade 6 and one in Grade 12. They were preparing for exams and I am pleased to say they were all able to sit them with confidence after a few months working with me.

I feel confident tutoring all abilities from primary school to degree level. For me, it is important that the student looks forward to our sessions and feels engaged. I do this by ensuring a variety of learning techniques are used and a comfortable atmosphere is created where the occasional joke is appreciated. Furthermore, the environment allows for students to ask any questions they desire but also encourages them to answer these themselves where possible.

Katie always shows up on time and her lesson plans always fit the allocated time. Katie is very knowledgeable about English and take to time to explain principles.
Katie assisted me in my university studies, I struggled with essays, structure and working with IT formatting, but to my aid she helped me achieve well above my average scores. She is so kind spirited with a positive attitude that took away from thinking of my studies as an overwhelming task. Thanks Katie!
