About Maia

I am currently a first year student at the University of Oxford studying Biomedical Sciences.

I offer tutoring in Maths at GCSE level, both Foundation and Higher. I enjoy helping students build confidence in their learning and explaining challenging topics in a clear and supportive way. I am friendly, patient, and aim to make lessons both productive and encouraging for every student.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and focus on building both understanding and confidence in the subject. As someone who has recently completed GCSEs, I understand the challenges students face and can explain difficult topics in a clear and approachable way.
Lessons typically include developing an understanding of key concepts, working through exam-style questions, and developing effective revision and exam techniques. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making steady progress.
