About Abigail
I am a recent MEng Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Birmingham. I have over 4 years of experience in tutoring younger students in Maths, Chemistry, Physics at levels of KS3, GCSE and A level. I have also completed an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with Highers in Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I am passionate about helping others and inspiring the next generation of young people entering the world of STEM. I am very patient and understanding when it comes to teaching and eager to help students improve in their learning.

The structure of my sessions varies depending on the student's needs, abilities and preferred way of learning. Generally, each lesson focuses on one topic at a time, by guiding the student through the topic and checking their understanding through practice questions (a mixture of worksheets or exam-style questions). When the student begins to understand some topics in the syllabus, I'll go through past papers. I will help them with improving their exam technique by identifying the multiple ways to answer the questions and the key things that the examiners are looking for in their answers.
