About Samuel
My names Samuel,
I’m a Law student at the University of Leicester. I’ve been playing guitar for over four years, and have been in my band for just over two. I am a self taught guitarist and do not believe in the old methods of teaching guitar, which I have seen to discourage budding guitarists. My methods allow students to play the songs they want to play in a manner they find comfortable, such as the way I taught myself guitar those years ago. This method of teaching allows me to look at music from outside the box and most importantly enjoy playing guitar to the fullest.

Many beginner guitarists experience their first lesson and are then bombarded with a set way to learn the instrument, coached into a certain way of playing or understanding their instrument. I believe the best way for a beginner to learn is to simply learn songs they want to play, prolonging enjoyment and retention of playing guitar.
