About Lorne
I am currently a University of Bristol student studying International Business Management. Therefore, my experience in studying Business Studies extends further than the A-Level scope of knowledge. In addition, having massively enjoyed studying Philosophy and Ethics at A-Level for which I received an A grade, I am extremely interested in sharing my insight and knowledge in this field particularly my methodology when it comes to planning and writing essays. This is a key component of the subject and will be necessary to perfect to achieve the highest grades.

My method can be described as flipped learning. This will involve my students researching and learning the necessary knowledge in their own time which I will then test and expand further on in lessons. For example, if the topic of the week is Ontological argument in regard to Philosophy and Ethics, I will explain to students that they will need to have covered and learnt the key aspects of the the theory which I will then test in the tutoring session and then explain and demonstrate how that knowledge can lead to analysis and evaluation.
