About Samuel
Hello! I am Samuel Valenzuela, I am 20 years old and I am currently a student of Orchestral Conducting at the DAMus of the National University of the Arts, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I started music at the age of 9, in Curicó, Maule Region, belonging to the Curicó Children's and Youth Orchestra. From 2016 to 2020, I joined the Conservatory of Music of the University of Talca under a scholarship, under the flute chair of Dr. Ieng Wai Wong. In this institution, I joined the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Band, Wood Quintet and "Lignum Trio". From 2019 to 2021, I belonged to the FOJI, integrating the OSJR Maule, occupying the position of Flute I, II and piccolist. In 2022, I passed with 100% the demanding CINO entrance test to the National University of the Arts, to enter to study a Bachelor's Degree in Musical Arts, with a mention in Orchestral Conducting. I have had Masterclass with Dr. Julee Kim Walker, Paolo Bortolameolli, Alberto Almarza, among others.

In 2021, I faced the difficult theoretical entrance to the National University of the Arts in Argentina, and I said, Why not help young people who are preparing for a theoretical exam, and do not have the tools for it?
Since this year, I have been helping young people to face the theoretical entrance tests to different musical careers in the best possible way. Music theory doesn't have to be boring!
My classes are developed 100% online, providing the student with the facilities and flexibility. Along with this, I will provide you with the necessary support material so that we can learn in the best way. We will reinforce and work on the most requested aspects in Musical Theory: Melodic Solfeggio, rhythmic dictations and melodic dictations, harmony, musical intervals (recognition and construction), triad and tetrad chords, harmonic and morphological analysis, etc.
It is especially intended for young people who wish to improve their theoretical level in order to prepare for an audition and/or theoretical entrance exam to study houses, conservatories, orchestras, etc.
