About Clara
Hello! I am a second-year University of Toronto student, who would love to help you on your learning journey. As a human biology major and chemistry minor, I not only know the subject materials very well, but know the best way to teach and retain the information! I have also taught Grade 1-2 French informally during high school and am planning to get a Masters of Teaching during grad school. Hopefully you choose me as a tutor!

As a university student, I know how vital it is to thoroughly understand the topics you are learning at school. This is why my lessons are roughly divided into three parts; to ensure that students, not memorize, but learn and store the information in their long-term memory. 1. A quick revision of the previous lesson (revisions are important for the student to strengthen their recollection of the information and, collectively, their learning). 2. The actual lesson (where topics will be broken down into their simplest points, using examples that are relevant to the student's level). 3. Practice questions (where we will put the knowledge into use, to ensure the student has a strong grasp on the topic). This is specifically for Grades 4 to 9.
