About Stav
I am a pre-med student studying Genetics and Genomics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Throughout high school, I gained over 100 hours of tutoring experience, working with middle and high school students in math, English, anatomy, and physiology. I enjoy helping students feel more confident in subjects they may find challenging and creating a comfortable environment where they feel confident asking questions. My experience as both a tutor and a student has taught me how to explain difficult concepts in a clear, patient, and approachable way.

I focus on making math feel simple and approachable by breaking problems down step by step and adapting my teaching style to each student. A typical lesson starts by reviewing what the student is struggling with, working through examples together, and then having them practice independently with my guidance. With over 100 hours of tutoring experience, I’ve learned how to explain the same concept in different ways until it clicks. My lessons are designed for middle and high school students who want help with homework, test preparation, or strengthening their overall math skills and confidence.
