About Greta

Hi! I'm Greta, a high school student in Paris and a passionate storyteller who believes that the best writing comes from imagination, not rules.

I've always loved diving into creative worlds, building characters, and playing with words. Because I'm a young writer myself, I know how magical it is to turn a blank page into an adventure—and I know how intimidating a blinking cursor can feel when you're stuck.

My goal is to give kids a fun, zero-pressure space where their wildest ideas are celebrated. Whether we are crafting a silly rhyming poem, mapping out an epic fantasy plot, or finding the exact right adjective to bring a story to life, I'm here as a supportive creative partner. Let's make writing your favorite part of the day!

About the lesson

- I believe the best way to learn writing is through inspiration rather than pressure. Instead of treating writing like a boring school chore, we use creative prompts, sensory word banks, and playful structures (like haikus, rhyming poems, and mini adventure tales) to help students discover their unique voice. Every session is collaborative, imaginative, and completely stress-free.

- Lesson plan:
1. Reflection and inspo.
2. Talking and teaching about how to enhance and write about the topic
3. Writing (the student will have 10-20 minutes to write what we talked about)
4. The student will share and we will polish the poem
5. Ideas for next time (5 minutes)

- Most writing classes taught by adults can feel stiff, overly academic, or like a chore. Because you're a high school student, you understand the actual worlds, humor, and imaginations of younger kids. You don't talk down to them; you collaborate with them as a creative partner. Also, I will also write about the topic, just so we can compare.
