About the lesson

As a tutor, my teaching approach and techniques primarily revolve around online face-to-face Mandarin conversations, which help students apply the language in real-life situations and enhance their oral fluency. I enjoy incorporating current events topics or Chinese songs into my teaching to make the learning process more dynamic and interactive, simultaneously aiding students in gaining a better understanding of the cultural context of the language.

Typical course plans vary based on students' needs and proficiency levels. I assist students in building a strong foundation encompassing grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, followed by practical Mandarin conversation practice to improve their language skills. Throughout the course, I provide relevant learning resources and practice materials to ensure students continually progress.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my Taiwanese background, allowing me to offer genuine native Mandarin instruction and share more about Chinese culture. My conversational and approachable nature also makes the learning process enjoyable and encourages students to engage actively.
