About Mahima
I, Mahima Satsangi, was introduced to the beauty of Kathak Dance at the age of 12. I started my journey from Kathak Kendra, New Delhi under the guidance of Guru Shikha Khare ji. Under her guidance I performed in various festivals such as Commonwealth games and Kathak Mahotsav. Academically I am pursuing Masters in Political Science from Indira Gandhi National Open University. I completed my graduation from Satyawati College, Delhi University in Political Science itself. In my college days I was President of my dance society, "Immortals" for two consecutive years. I also won many prizes and certificates during my time in society not in Delhi but also in fests that were conducted by other states. From 2014 onwards I started to teach dance in Seven Eighty Six Days Dance Academy, Ashok Vihar, Delhi and I also taught in Shemrock, Rajouri garden, Delhi.
In 2016 I started working as a Dance Teacher in Mahashay Chunilal Saraswati Bal Mandir Sr. Sec. School. I have also conducted various workshops and worked with different NGO's.
Presently I am doing my Senior Diploma from Prayag Sangit Samiti, Allahabad and pursuing my learning under Padamshree Guru Shovana Narayan ji.

My personal experience has taught me that every child is different. Therefore, my teaching methodology is solely based on the potential of the students and capabilities. I start my class with an objective that the topics or techniques I am teaching are understood by the students with minimum hassle, so that student is comfortable with me in no time. With this methodology, communication between the teacher and student becomes strong and requires results in a shorter time period.
