About Ewan
I am a passionate singing tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and over 8 years of experience helping vocalists discover, strengthen, and refine their unique sound. My journey as a singer began early, growing from school performances into formal training and a professional teaching career that allows me to share what I love most—helping others connect deeply with their voice. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve worked with students of all ages, from young beginners to adult learners and aspiring professionals. I believe that every voice has something special to offer, and my role as a tutor is to guide each singer with patience, skill, and encouragement. Whether someone is just learning to sing in tune or preparing for an audition, I tailor every lesson to support their musical growth and confidence. My teaching approach blends vocal technique with musical expression. I emphasize healthy vocal habits, breath control, and tone development while also focusing on storytelling, stage presence, and emotional delivery. I help students explore multiple genres, including pop, classical, and musical theater, so they can discover the style that resonates most with them. Outside of teaching, I remain active in performing, composing, and continually expanding my own training. This ongoing experience brings fresh insight into lessons and allows me to offer practical, real-world advice. My goal as a tutor is to inspire each student to not only improve their voice technically but to sing with authenticity, confidence, and joy.

Singing lessons are designed to develop not just vocal technique but also artistic confidence and personal expression. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced vocalist, lessons are personalized to match your voice, goals, and musical style. Each session is focused, encouraging, and designed to make you feel both challenged and supported as you grow.
In the beginning, we concentrate on foundational techniques such as posture, breath control, tone production, and pitch accuracy. You’ll learn how to use your voice in a healthy and sustainable way while working on simple vocal exercises and familiar songs that build comfort and control. These early steps are essential for developing good habits and preventing vocal strain.
As your skills develop, lessons will expand to include resonance, dynamics, phrasing, diction, and emotional delivery. We’ll also explore vocal styles across genres like pop, classical, and musical theatre—based on your interests. You’ll learn how to interpret lyrics meaningfully, improve stage presence, and strengthen performance confidence. Those preparing for auditions or exams will receive specific coaching and strategies.
Each lesson is structured to make steady progress while staying enjoyable and relevant to your musical journey. Whether your goal is to sing for personal fulfillment, perform publicly, or pursue a more serious vocal path, these lessons provide the tools, techniques, and inspiration to help you find and refine your unique voice.
