I guide you through microphone technique and exam preparation so you have the practical skills needed for any stage environment. We spend significant time on rhythm and phrasing to ensure your delivery is as compelling as it is technically sound. My background in performing for 15 years informs the advice I give regarding stage fear management and performance confidence. Rhythm and phrasing are the core of every vocal performance I guide my students through during our time together. My 10 years of experience as a performer and educator allow me to see exactly where a singer is holding back or feeling tension.
Because I am a self-taught guitarist and native speaker, I understand how to integrate diction and articulation with the physical reality of belting technique or harmony singing. I work with hobbyists, self-taught players needing structure, and working professionals who want to feel secure in their sound. My approach is strictly neurodivergent-affirming, ensuring that every warm up exercise and sight singing session feels safe and productive.
I have found that when we remove the fear of making mistakes, the voice opens up in ways that surprise even the most seasoned performers. It is a genuine pleasure to watch someone move from stage fear management to full performance confidence.
