About Lori
You will appreciate how we prioritize vocal health and longevity in every single session together. You are the priority, so we spend time identifying your range and working on consistent vibrato control. I share recorded warm-up routines so you have something structured to use for daily practice at home. Because of my 13 years gigging in the chanson circuit, I bring a very practical, performance-focused mindset to your training.
We look at sight singing in a way that feels organic rather than like a chore. My background as a self-taught Québécois musician ensures that our time together remains grounded and effective. I promise to keep our focus on the habits that actually keep your voice strong over the long term.

Vocal health is often ignored by singers until it is far too late to fix. Being a performer for 13 years taught me that your throat is an instrument that requires extreme maintenance.
I work with absolute beginners and seasoned performers who want to understand their chest voice. My 7 years of teaching experience allow me to simplify the mechanics of head voice and microphone technique. After coaching 200 students, I see that most people just need a bit of guidance to find their natural sound. It is simple.
I hold a deep love for the craft of chanson française and want to share that with you. Teaching is a joy when the student finally stops overthinking.
