About Patrick
Welcome! I'm Patrick, a passionate artist and tutor dedicated to supporting those who struggle with painting. My teaching philosophy centres on encouragement, helping students break free from self-doubt and embrace their creativity with confidence. Painting is all about having fun—relaxing, engaging with your creative side, and learning a skill that will enrich your life for years to come. My approach is loose while staying representational, allowing students to experiment freely while maintaining a strong foundation in technique. With [your qualifications/years of experience], I’ve had the privilege of guiding students of all levels, helping them grow their skills and confidence in a supportive, stress-free environment. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your style, I’m here to make painting accessible, enjoyable, and fulfilling.

I take a loose yet representational approach, guiding students to express themselves freely while maintaining structure and balance in their work. My lessons are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable, creating a space where students can let go of pressure and truly engage with their art. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, offering the perfect balance of instruction and hands-on practice. I’m primarily self-taught which helps me understand the frustration of learning to paint in watercolour. I have helped learners at all levels find joy in painting. I work with all age groups, beginners, advanced learners, whether you're looking to build foundational skills, refine your technique, or simply enjoy the process of painting. My goal is to create an environment where students can relax, explore, and express themselves through their art.
