About Manveen
Teaching, learning and development have always been a passion of mine, and it is what prompted me to join Teach for India, which is affiliated to Teach First in the UK. I have completed my Master's degree in International Human Resource Management from the Queen Mary University of London and have loved every moment. I hope that through my tutoring lessons, I am able to provide new insights and avenues to contribute towards the future of all my students.

I am an excellent planner and believe in mutually agreed goals and a psychological contract of where we want to get by the end of a certain period. As mentioned before, I specialise in the teaching of English, Hindi and Social Sciences, and I prefer to use guided practice and independent practice as ways to reinforce learning, because I feel that, students learn better from making mistakes while practising than with just an explanation. The age groups I work best with are key stage 2 and I am also open to teaching certain subjects in key stage 3.
