About Isla
With over 14 years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about teaching piano to high school and college students. I have had the joy of guiding around 250 students on their musical journeys, helping them unlock their potential and develop a love for music. My teaching approach is personalized, ensuring each student feels supported and motivated to achieve their goals.
One of my proudest milestones was preparing several students for performances and competitions, where they showcased their skills and gained confidence. I believe in creating a fun and inspiring learning environment, where students can express themselves through music and grow both as musicians and individuals. Let's make music together!

My teaching methodology for piano is designed to cater to each student’s unique learning style. I adapt my lessons to suit visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners, ensuring that every student feels comfortable and engaged. Flexibility is key; I adjust lesson plans based on student progress and interests, allowing for a more personalized experience.
I believe motivation is essential, so I incorporate fun and rewarding activities to inspire passion for music. I also use empathy to understand my students' challenges, providing a supportive and encouraging environment.
In addition to piano, I can teach subjects like music theory and composition, applying the same adaptable and student-centered approach. Together, we’ll make learning enjoyable and effective!
