About Jenny

I have a degree in elementary education. I have taught pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade. I have a total of 11 years of experience. I enjoy teaching children to read and have great success with the techniques and strategies that I use.

About the lesson

I feel that it is important to connect with a child and then make ways to learn to read in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I use the approach of learning sight words, chunking words, stretching words etc. I also teach reading using phonograms. The use of visuals and games are a great way to teach kids to read, or allow them to practice to get better .
