About Elian
I am a passionate chess tutor with 7 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over this time, I have had the pleasure of guiding 150 to 200 students on their chess journey. My love for education drives me to help each student improve not only their chess skills but also their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. I believe that learning chess is about more than just the game; it’s about building confidence, patience, and strategic thinking. One of my proudest milestones was helping a student win their first local chess tournament after months of dedicated practice. Moments like these remind me why I love teaching so much. My goal is to create a friendly and encouraging space where students feel excited to learn and grow. I enjoy seeing my students reach new levels and discover the joy of chess. Together, we work towards success both on and off the board.

Besides chess, I can also teach related subjects like logical thinking and problem-solving skills. These help strengthen a player’s overall game and critical thinking. My goal is to make learning fun and effective so that students not only improve their chess but also develop skills they can use in life.
