About Wendy
Backed by 4+ years of teaching experience and a MSc in Industrial Chemistry, I help students excel in computational chemistry. My focus includes predicting reaction mechanisms, molecular properties, and behavior through advanced modeling. Lessons cover quantum chemistry calculations, molecular dynamics, and simulation methods. I bring these concepts to life with practical projects and guided exercises. Students learn how to use computational software to support their work. This hands-on approach ensures that knowledge is applied directly. I have guided both university students and researchers in refining their computational skills. My teaching emphasizes clarity, stepwise learning, and active engagement. I encourage questions and curiosity throughout the process. Sessions are designed to strengthen both technical abilities and logical reasoning. Students often find themselves more confident in tackling research problems after our work together. I aim to build resilience and independence alongside technical skill. By combining theory with practice, learners grow into confident, well-rounded chemists ready for modern challenges.

I tutor chemistry with a focus on warmth, clarity, and engagement. My teaching is problem-solving based, helping students approach equations and reactions step by step. I emphasize interactive discussions and hands-on learning. Everyday chemical phenomena, such as cooking reactions and environmental processes, are core teaching tools. Lab safety principles are always included to ensure practical awareness. Historical discoveries bring context and depth to lessons. I also emphasize environmental chemistry, linking science to global challenges. Visual aids, like diagrams and molecular models, simplify abstract concepts. Simple experiments help reinforce theory in memorable ways. Real-life examples connect science to familiar experiences. I provide strong support to Science Communicators and Neuroscience Buffs who value engaging explanations. My sessions encourage students to stay curious while mastering skills. Each lesson is structured to build confidence and problem-solving ability. Ultimately, my goal is to make chemistry meaningful and enjoyable for every learner.
