About Bryce

Hi, I'm a guitar teacher with over 12 years of experience and a Diploma of Music with a Guitar Specialisation. I’ve coached students through live performances, recording sessions, auditions, and music school entry with great success. My teaching style is focused, supportive, and always encouraging. I help students build strong technical skills while also developing their unique musical voice. Whether you're on stage or in the studio, I place a big emphasis on stage presence, confidence, and expressive playing. I create a space where students feel free to explore, create, and push their musical boundaries. We work on tone control, timing, improvisation, and genre versatility to make you a well-rounded player. I also guide students in understanding how to connect with an audience and deliver memorable performances. Every lesson is tailored to fit your goals and musical journey. About the lesson

My guitar teaching approach is practical, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s style and goals. I help learners build a strong foundation in chords, strumming, picking, and fingerstyle techniques. A big part of my method focuses on rhythm practice, groove development, and tempo control to keep your playing steady and musical. I introduce students to various genres like blues, funk, and folk, helping them adapt their skills across different styles. We work on developing a good sense of timing, dynamics, and feel, which are key for expressive playing. I also guide students in learning to play confidently with others or in front of an audience. For those who love to sing and play or lead group sessions, I support you in building a strong rhythm base and smooth transitions between chords. My lessons include song-based learning, so you can apply techniques through real music you enjoy. I also focus on ear training and learning by listening, which helps with improvisation and memory. Each session blends technique, creativity, and performance skills. I make sure students feel comfortable, motivated, and supported. Whether you’re picking up the guitar for fun or leading a group, I’ll help you grow into a confident, expressive player.
