About Violet
With over 4 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz (Guitar Principal), I guide students to explore guitar as both an instrument and a creative voice in storytelling. I teach Electric, Acoustic, Classical, and Bass Guitar, with a focus on sound and atmosphere. My lessons emphasize how music shapes emotion in film and video game soundtracks. Students learn to create textures, motifs, and themes that connect with listeners. I also teach how to work with digital audio workstations (DAWs) for recording and layering sound. Lessons are hands-on, combining technique with imagination. I design each session to fit the learner’s personal and creative goals. Whether you’re a youth exploring sound design or an adult developing your composing skills, I adapt to your learning style. We study tone, phrasing, and dynamics through cinematic examples. My approach builds musicianship and storytelling instincts together. Let’s turn your guitar into a voice that brings worlds to life—on screen and beyond.

Each student learns to listen deeply and play with intention. I guide learners through exercises that strengthen coordination and precision. Groove development is central to every session, helping players lock in with confidence. We explore genres from pop and rock to folk and worship music. My method is structured yet flexible, allowing space for creativity and exploration. I provide consistent feedback so progress feels clear and achievable. The Fingerstyle Enthusiast learns clarity and tone control, while The Worship Leader builds musical awareness and steady rhythm. Together, we create playing habits that feel natural and expressive. My goal is simple: to help you confidently lay down the perfect rhythm every time you play.
